Marshall Lake Road
Photo Gallery  1

The Marshall Lake Road Alternator Factory was previously owned
by BSA Guns
It had been purpose-built in what was then a rural part of south birmingham.
The cellars of the factory were made to house testing facilities for firing guns.
The cellars remained until bought out by Lucas who filled them in allowing
greater floor support for the heavy machinery which was to be installed on
the ground floor
